What next for Tijani Muhammed?

Having ended his loan move at Fotbol Trinec in the Czech second division in December 2019 (having played his last game for them some days earlier) , it remains to be seen what the future holds for Nigeria junior international Tijani Muhammed. The 19 year old centre forward, who signed for Czech top division side Banik Ostrava in September 2018, played 7 matches for the clubs youth team last season where he scored 7 goals. Keen for the teenager to develop his game, the club loaned him out to Fotbol Trinec in the second division to play in an adult league. Although he had game-time, Tijani did not find the back of the net in his 10 outings in the Czech division 2 league. Now that his loan move has come to end, it remains a matter of speculation whether Tijani would be sent back to the club's Under-20 side. For now, it appears that he is not in the plans of the coach of the club's senior team. Tijani Mohammed played in 4 matches for Nigeria at the Under-20 World Cup last year scoring one goal against eventual champions Ukraine.
