If the riot act reportedly read out to the team by coach Eric Chelle (regarding punctuality) is anything to go by, early-arrival Papa Daniel might play ahead of USA-based midfielder Alhassan Yusuf in Friday’s World Cup qualifier.
Coach Eric Chelle has reportedly insisted that any player who was not part of the first training, will not feature in the match against Rwanda.
Papa Daniel featured in the first training session but Yusuf only arrived on Wednesday. So the exciting homebase midfielder stands in good stead to feature on Friday.
It remains to be seen if either player tastes action in that make or mar encounter.
Outside these two, the likes of Iwobi, Ndidi, Onyedika and Aribo are supremely experienced and highly capable of handling midfield responsibilities.
