Super Eagles fans have another fascinating weekend of football to look forward to as some their favourite stars are expected to be paraded, either from the start or on the bench, in matches across leagues in England .
Afrofooty.com previews some of these players:
Premiership
Iwobi: Early kick-off on Saturday sees Iwobi's Arsenal travel to West Ham in a match the forward will be hoping to use his eloquent passing skills to unsettle the back line of their hosts and run away with all 3 points.
Balogun: Not a lot of people will expect the Super Eagles defender to do anything other than warm the bench for this all-important match against a Liverpool side that would want to bounce back from their defeat against Man City last week to keep alive their premier league trophy ambitions.
Success: The former U-17 international will be hoping for an end product to his hard work in his team's match against Crystal Palace away this weekend. The Watford hit-man will need to start adding (more) goals to his game.
Iheanacho: The striker, who once terrorised defences in Man City. is clearly a shadow of his former
self in Leicester City. His national team coach has put this down to temporary loss of confidence. Iheanacho, if selected, will be hoping for a strong performance in his team's match against Southampton at home to remind all and sundry of the immense skills he still possesses.
Ndidi: Sure banker to start; the superstar midfielder will be expected to thwart the attacking initiatives of Southampton at home today with his tireless interceptions and timely tackles.
Championship
Etebo: His defence splitting passes and all-round midfield presence will be seriously needed today, if selected, as Stoke's slim chances of making an instant return to the Premiership continues to dissipate by the day.
Ajayi: The 25 year old, who will be desperate for his team to avoid relagation to the English 3rd tier, is expected to be a rock for the back in his team's away fixture to Ipswich this weekend.
