CSKA Moscow speed merchant Ahmed Musa is set to start for the Super Eagles for the first time in a while against Serbia tonight as manager Gernot Rohr appears to have picked him ahead of Odion Ighalo who fired blanks in the last friendly against Poland.
Also, the German tactician, it would seem, has kept faith with the trio of Joel Obi, Francis Uzoho and Bryan Idowu to start as they did in the last international friendly.
Ogenyi Onazi, who started the game against Poland on the bench, is said to be back in the starting line-up to complete a midfield trio alongside Joel Obi and Wilfred Ndidi.
Some online platforms are suggesting that Kenneth Omeruo will replace the injured Leon Balogun while others claim that Balogun is back fit and will retain his place in the starting line-up.
What is more or less certain is that Tyronne Ebuehi will replace the injured Shehu Abdulahi at right-back positon - a rare start for the youngster in a high profile encounter.
The German tactician also kept faith with Victor Moses and Alex Iwobi to provide width and creativity from the flanks.
The game will will hold at the Hive stadium in London. Kick-off time is 8pm.
Super Eagles probable line up:
